I cannot recommend Francisca Wong from Andrew Byrnes Law Group highly enough. From the beginning, Francisca was compassionate, thorough and incredibly supportive. She communicated with me throughout the entire process, attended court on several occasions to request adjournments while she gathered the necessary evidence, and made sure my circumstances were properly understood. Francisca recognised that my mental health had played a significant role in the events leading to my charge and suggested applying for a Section 17 non-conviction order, something I had never believed would be an option for me. She was honest that it would be difficult to obtain, but she advocated strongly on my behalf. Despite strong arguments from the prosecution, the magistrate granted the Section 17 non-conviction with a good behaviour order. I am incredibly relieved and grateful for the outcome. Francisca’s empathy, professionalism, communication and dedication made an extremely stressful experience much easier to navigate. She not only achieved an outcome I never thought possible, but she also surpassed every expectation I had of what a lawyer could be. A really efficient and friendly attitude from all the staff. From the very first contact I felt comfortable that they were going to provide me the service I needed. Being a legal issues virgin, they were gentle with me and Ash (although a lawyer) was approachable and professional with just the right amount of mirth to keep me in check. The guidance I recieved was spot on and eased my mental burden immediately. One word of caution .... if you attend at the office in Canberra, be careful how you find the entrance; don't do what i did and crash straight into the office space!
