We engaged Bolter (the trading arm of Clifford Gouldson Lawyers) in September 2025 to prepare a Shareholders Agreement, Constitution, and supporting documentation for our business. The scope was clear, detailed signed instructions were provided from the outset, and costs were paid upfront. What followed was nearly six months of missed deadlines, broken delivery promises, and extended periods of silence. The first draft was a template that bore no resemblance to our instructions. The second was largely the same. After we returned detailed clause-by-clause feedback, the matter stalled entirely. Basic questions about our corporate structure were being raised months after we had provided that information in writing on day one. At least six specific delivery commitments were made and broken. We had to escalate to a Director of the firm before the matter was taken seriously. In the end, no execution-ready documents were ever delivered. A refund was issued only after a formal complaint. I would not recommend this firm for corporate or commercial work based on our experience.
