My experience with this firm during the handling of my late mother’s estate over an extended period was extremely disappointing. My brother and I were named as equal beneficiaries in my mother’s will. This firm acted for the executor, not for us, and they repeatedly made that distinction clear. That may be legally correct, but it does not excuse the cold, dismissive, and poor communication I experienced throughout the process. At one point I provided the certified ID they requested and received no confirmation or acknowledgement until I chased them. Their written response was that because I physically handed it into their office, they did not feel it was necessary to email me confirmation. In my view, that showed a complete lack of basic professional courtesy, especially in a sensitive estate matter. When I followed up about delays and asked for transparency, the responses I received felt defensive and condescending. I was left feeling like I was being treated as an inconvenience rather than as a grieving son and beneficiary trying to understand what was happening with my mother’s estate. The whole process caused me significant stress. I eventually received a distribution, but I was left with serious concerns about the lack of clear communication, the lack of transparency, and the way I was spoken to. I would not recommend this firm to anyone involved in estate matters, especially where family conflict or vulnerable beneficiaries are involved.
