Negligent Representation and Total Failure of Professional Duty I am writing this to warn prospective clients of the significant professional and procedural failings I experienced with Fern Lawyers. While the firm was eager to accept my matter and secure their payment structure, their performance during a critical phase of my case was non-existent. Key Failures: Gross Negligence in Case Management: Despite a sudden and adverse turn in my matter that required immediate legal intervention, my solicitor demonstrated a total lack of engagement. It was clear from our limited contact that she had not investigated the details of my file or prepared a competent strategy to address the opposition's challenges. Substandard Expert Referrals: The firm referred me to a "specialist" for a 1.5-hour consultation that lasted only 30 minutes. The resulting report was inconsistent and logically flawed, which the opposing party easily dismantled. The firm failed to vet the quality of the evidence they were submitting on my behalf, directly damaging my case. Failure to Communicate (Ghosting): After sending multiple polite, factual inquiries over seven critical weeks, I received zero response from my solicitor. When an assistant finally called, he was unable to provide any substantive answers. The firm has completely ghosted me, failing to reply to any correspondence for over a month. Predatory Conduct: This firm appears to prioritize billing and customer acquisition over professional duty. They accept complex matters from clients in high-pressure situations and then provide no meaningful representation when work becomes necessary.
