Lane Family Law provides legal advice to individuals and families across Warrnambool and South West Victoria, including Port Fairy, Hamilton and Portland. The practice is led by Principal Solicitor Amy Lane, who holds a Masters of Applied Law (Family Law). Amy grew up in South West Victoria before heading to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts.

She returned to Warrnambool in 2012 and was admitted to practise law in 2013. She worked at a local firm for 8 years in a range of areas including family law, wills and estates and conveyancing. Amy then joined a Community Legal Centre where she served as Principal Lawyer, leading and mentoring a team of lawyers, running a duty lawyer service assisting clients with intervention order applications, and helping clients navigate complex parenting and property matters.

Amy regularly appears in the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. The firm regularly assists clients with family law matters, including parenting arrangements, property settlements and separation.
