Morton & Morton Solicitors

Morton & Morton Solicitors was established in 1874 and has been serving the community for over 150 years. The firm has offices in Maryborough and Hervey Bay. Adrian Land and Andrew List have been partners of Morton & Morton since 2001. Morton & Morton Solicitors offers services including buying and selling property, wills and estates, injury claims, commercial arrangements and agreements, family law, and criminal law.

Morton & Morton Solicitors is described by clients as a practice where approachable service meets technical skill. Andrew List is named warmly for his depth of knowledge and calm manner, particularly in a Will discussion a client had anticipated would be difficult and in a subdivision matter weighed down by council requirements. Carly receives similar praise for guiding a property purchase, with reviewers repeatedly mentioning clear communication that kept them informed throughout and made the transaction feel straightforward. Friendliness from the first meeting is described as a constant, with requests understood quickly and answers given without hesitation.

Affordable pricing for wills is a point that comes up often, and the work reflected in the accounts spans conveyancing, estate planning and property-related advice. Clients note that matters are handled helpfully and without the stiffness sometimes associated with long-established firms. The feedback consistently returns to the combination of expertise and personal warmth, and to a sense that complex legal processes are made manageable through patient explanation and steady support. Conveyancing and estate planning emerge as the areas most often referenced in those accounts.
