For my daughter and her children, this firm was an unfortunate choice. Didn't take the time to listen sincerely to her problem, understand her situation or investigate her claims and she is now in a worse position legally,financially and emotionally .They certainly did not represent her or her children's best interests . She feels she was pushed into decisions that suited the lawyers interests and not her own or her children's, at a time when she was clearly overwhelmed and distressed by the whole legal process .And the outcome of her case reflects this . She is now " legitimately" trapped by an abuser in an unwanted and unsafe situation and $7000 poorer. Money which was borrowed , and after being initially quoted less than $5000 .It will now take months if not years and a lot of distress and expense to correct their thoughtless indifference .The whole interaction felt like, take a number .Maybe they could take on less cases and put some quality time into the cases they have on the books , quality over quantity .So much for a supportive and caring law firm that cares about your individual situation. Seems they don't care too much even when you pay them to . Very disappointed. Sorry, but I would not recommend this law firm.. ### An update on this review - 6 months later :my daughter and her children have finally had her case heard again and it was taken seriously, this time she was listened to and supported by her new lawyer ,from a different law firm .They have now received a positive outcome in the courts .She was approved for and received legal aid to correct the previous mistakes made by O'Neil lawyers... Be very careful who you choose to help you deal with the most important moments of your life.
