Liz genuinely cared about our son’s situation, encouraging him to engage with a psychologist, complete relevant courses and demonstrate genuine remorse and accountability. I approached TWC Lawyers for what should have been a straightforward property settlement matter, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing — especially with one of their Lawyers. From the beginning, this person came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of feeling supported by my own lawyer, I genuinely felt as though this Lawyer was representing the other party’s interests rather than mine, despite not even knowing them personally. The service was also incredibly expensive for the level of work provided. I was charged thousands of dollars mainly for reviewing documents related to my case, yet later during conversations this Lawyer openly admitted had not properly gone through those documents at all. That was shocking and unacceptable considering the fees involved. Another major issue was communication. I repeatedly requested face-to-face meetings in the office and even offered to attend at a time and location of this lawyer choosing. Despite this, continually refused and insisted on phone conversations instead. I clearly explained that I had difficulty hearing and communicating properly over the phone, but this concern was ignored. The way this was handled felt rude and disrespectful. What finally convinced me to leave was the last conversation I had with this Lawyer, during which raised voice and spoke to me in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner. No client should ever be treated that way by someone they are paying for legal representation. After losing around $4,400 with very little progress, I finally decided to move on and engage a capable lawyer elsewhere. Thankfully, my matter was then resolved quickly and professionally. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise people to think carefully before engaging TWC Lawyers, if you want professional service, proper communication, and value for your money. UPDATE -23 MAY 2026 : After contacting TWC Lawyers following their public response to my review, I received a phone call on Friday evening (22 May 2026) that was completely different from the polite and understanding tone presented online. During the call, I felt intimidated and pressured with references to possible legal consequences simply because I shared my honest personal experience as a former client. In my opinion, the conversation came across as threatening rather than genuinely attempting to resolve my concerns. For anyone reading these reviews, please do not assume the friendly public response reflects how matters are handled privately. My experience during that phone call was the exact opposite of the professional and customer-focused image presented online. I believe people have the right to share honest feedback about services they have paid for, and that is precisely the purpose of Google reviews. I stand by the statements made in my original review, which accurately reflect my personal experience with TWC Lawyers.
