I cannot recommend Andrew Baird, Mary-Jane, and the professional team at Baird & McGregor highly enough!During the purchase of my most recent industrial building, the process became incredibly complex. The vendor's previous conveyancer was completely out of their depth regarding commercial contracts and GST implications. When Baird & McGregor took over the file, the Section 32 and Contract of Sale were riddled with errors, poor wording, and exposed me to significant tax liabilities. With the vendor's permission, I was fortunate enough to speak with Andrew Baird directly. After just 10 minutes of his valuable time, he recognized the urgency and complexity of the situation. Despite tight deadlines and not making any false promises, Andrew pulled off an absolute miracle. He and his conveyancing paralegal, Mary-Jane, went above and beyond. Mary-Jane was incredibly helpful, organized, and worked seamlessly to help completely redraw and finalize a legally sound Section 32, getting it to my conveyancer in time for signing.I am truly grateful for Andrew’s exceptional expertise, due diligence, and dedication to saving the deal and protecting their client (vendor) and my interests. Many thanks
We have used Kim and Don from Baird and McGregor twice now for a property sale and a purchase. Truly, you could not ask for a better conveyancing team. Both individuals are extremely diligent and reliable and make the process easy to understand. They work incredibly hard to ensure the process is smooth and stress-free. I will absolutely use Kim and Don the next time around, and would recommend them to anyone looking for support with their property settlements. Five stars is simply not enough!
All staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout our experience. Very clear, prompt, compassionate communication from a very professional team. Highly reccommend them to anyone needing their services in future.

I am currently in the process of buying a property in Ballarat. I am using this business for conveyancing. The first conveyancer I had was amazing. She went above and beyond to assist during the settlement process of this property. She was always very responsive to my enquiries. She has since left this business. The new conveyancer I have been speaking to has been well below standard. She doesn't respond to my emails. I had to call her two days after sending her an email just to have her actually read it and action it. I never actually get a response from her after sending her an email. I sent through some mortgage documents for review. I was then told by the director that the review of these isn't included in the normal service and will cost an additional $480. I can't understand why reviewing something as basic as mortgage documents costs so much extra money. I am still waiting to have these mortgage documents reviewed after waiting for four business days. The director said these would be reviewed as soon as he receives confirmation though. I tried to call the business and they he would call me back. It's the next day and he still hasn't called me back. You would think the director of this business would understand how important customer service is. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. I think they were good previously but have since fallen through the cracks.
Smooth conveyancing and excellent communication, no gaps left and pleasure to work with.
I've known Baird and McGregor for over 15 years. They are absolutely reliable and have gone above and beyond to look after me and my family. I couldn't recommend them more.
