My younger brother was involved in an accident, and the police initially charged him with minor offences. We received advice from Jahan, who charged us legal fees for reviewing the paperwork and obtaining an extension for the court appearance. However, on the day of the hearing, the matter was finalised within approximately five minutes due to an error in the police charges, and no review of the paperwork was actually carried out. We paid the full legal fees through multiple payments until the balance was fully settled. During this time, Jahan threatened to sue us for $1,000 if we did not complete the payments. He also argued aggressively over the phone in an unprofessional manner. In one of our online meetings, he was eating lunch while speaking with us, which gave us the impression that he was more focused on receiving payment than providing proper professional service or maintaining long-term client relationships. It felt like a one-time service with little genuine care for the client.
