They were great ,no false promises asd i would highly recommend
From start too settling, I was supplied with all the information and resources that put me at ease knowing someone had my best interest and future at the forefront. Cameron and Fiona gave me constant updates and stood up for me beyond expectations! Very happy with the outcome they created and fought for outcomes I didn't even think where possible for my case. Incredibly impressed
Going to a lawyer was a daunting experience, but Fiona made it easy and her patience and determination to get the best outcome was amazing. I would highly recommend Fortitude Legal, especially Fiona.
I wouldn't recommend these guys at all!. I worked with a lawyer from this firm named Fiona Goodie and when I expressed my concerns to her that I wouldn't be able to hold my composer in court she just waved it off like my concerns didn't matter at all. I had expressed extreme concern that if I couldn't regulate my emotions & control my behaviour as I have a behavioural disorder. I was genuinely worried I'd be found to be in contempt of the court or proceedings and would be unfairly & unnecessarily incarcerated for a potentially unknown amount of time. I mentioned that I knew contempt works differently in Aus than it does in the USA like a lot of people who just watch to much TV would assume. However she told me that she didn't know how the contempt of court laws worked & after that I immediately knew that she couldn't be right because no lawyer gets through law school without learning how they and their clients can & can't conduct themselves in a court of law. Because i actually asked the question she is obligated by law to at least attempt to explain it to me. Instead she pretended not to know the contempt of court laws. I believe this constitutes a direct breach of ethics as lawyers have a sworn duty to not only uphold the law but also to defend a client to the best of their ability & by not assisting or even trying to explain to me her higher understanding then what was i actually paying her for?. Plus she offered no other advice or strategies to help me with my legal claim. Needless to say I fired her immediately when as an Australian certified lawyer she either didn't know or pretended not to know contempt law. ⚖️ Like a fine wine this comment matures with age. The longer it's here the more obvious it is that this law firm couldn't prove defamation so i guess if they are not willing to take me to court because I hold the truth then this review will continue to remain posted. If it's 1 month old they already threaten me with defamation. If it's 3 months old they didn't have a case! Just an update, somehow this lawyer FIONA GOODIE has convinced vicpol to place an interim intervention order on me as a means to gag me and suppress me from adding to this review but because of a legal loophole where I found out before being served I'm currently still free to add this development to the review. Shame on you fiona goodie, shame!. 🔔
Wasn't so sure about Cameron when we first met, but I had been given a good recommendation by someone I trusted. Everything was explained to me, then as we got to each step it was explained again. Nothing was too much trouble & when I wouldn't be helped by the insurance company a phone call from Fortitude would quickly have it sorted. Fortitude Legal could not have done better with my claim, they really put the effort & fight in for me. They were most mindful of a person illness I was also recovering from at that time Thank you to all who work in the Ballarat Office of Fortitude Legal you really have helped get me to the next stage of my life without worrying
Cameron, Fiona, Jenni and staff were very easy to deal with. I would recommend Fortitude Legal any day they were all very supportive throughout my 5 year process. Thank you all at Fortitude Legal.
Where do I start! From my first conversation with Cameron, and then Fiona (& their staff Jenni & Ashlee) I have felt heard, understood & informed. Knowledgeable, articulate, understanding & empathetic all the way through. Nothing was too much trouble - even having to repeat themselves for me when I didn't quite get it! Their communication was excellent as we waited for, what at times seemed like ages, things to go through the system. I will be forever grateful for the help & counsel that I received (I don't know where I would have been without it). I thoroughly recommend Fortitude Legal to anyone needing assistance.
