I first started dealing with this law firm in 2016. From the start they have been very hard to contact and communicate with. I went to them as their reviews for criminal cases and my children went through an extremely difficult time and I was hoping they could help with their cases. My children are now 20/19/17 and none of the adult children have had communication or very minimal if any. The problem is a can’t get them to utilise someone else’s services, as the cases were started. On behalf of my kids, I am appalled, angry and very disappointed with this firm. Would not recommend them at all.

Bad experience, paid $100 (through legal aid) to have him make me wait an extra 40 minutes to talk to him, the chat went for 10 minutes and didn't give us anything to go off of really, took the little advice he did give me and when it came to getting back in contact with him it was practically impossible, it's been 7 months now, I continuously called/emailed the office and the receptionist would have no idea where my email was or if I had sent it, once they would find it each time they would say to wait a week for him to get in touch. A week goes by. I call back. Exact same thing would happen over and over again. I've given up on Scott and Matthew Mitchell's Solictors as they have not had the time nor effort for me.

Nicole at Matthew Mitchell Solicitors has been an absolute delight to deal with. They are efficient and well priced. We had a difficult insurance company to deal with from an old policy. Unfortunately we settled the estate without resolving as was holding up finalisation. However, Nicole continued to follow up - it took her a year but her persistence paid off.
