My experience with garde Wilson lawyers was nothing short of terrible. To be blunt, I have never dealt with a professional service that put in so little effort, offered so little communication, and showed so little understanding of the situation they were supposedly being paid to handle. For the amount of money I spent — $6,600 — I expected at least the basics. Instead, I got the bare minimum, if that. The lack of information gathered for my case was unbelievable. It genuinely felt like they hadn’t bothered to dig into the details or even fully understand what they were working with. Critical points were ignored or overlooked, and I repeatedly felt like I had to explain things that they should have already known. It came across as lazy, rushed, or simply uninterested. Their communication was almost non-existent, and when they did communicate, it was vague, unclear, and completely unhelpful. I was constantly left waiting, wondering, and guessing what was happening. I had to chase them for updates like I was the one doing their job. When you’re dealing with a legal matter, the last thing you need is silence — but that’s exactly what I got. On top of that, their ability to explain the legal process was extremely poor. Simple questions were brushed off or answered in a way that made no sense. I was never told what certain steps meant, what to expect, or why certain decisions were being made. At times, it felt like they didn’t understand the process themselves, which is a terrifying thought when you’re relying on a solicitor to guide you. Their overall performance was, in my opinion, sloppy, careless, and unprofessional. Nothing inspired confidence. Nothing made me feel like my case was a priority. Honestly, based on how little help and clarity I received, I truly believe I would have come out with a better result if I had represented myself. In the end, the entire experience felt like a complete waste of $6,600. I walked away frustrated, confused, and extremely disappointed. I would not recommend to anyone based on what I went through. I’ve read your response, and to be clear, it only reinforces my original concerns. Listing conversations and explanations does not equate to effective representation. If the same level of effort that has gone into defending your position publicly had been applied to actually representing me, the outcome—and my experience—may have reflected that. You continue to shift responsibility onto me, particularly regarding the psychological assessment, while avoiding accountability for the overall standard of service and communication provided. That is exactly the issue. More importantly, your decision to publicly post details of my case, including references to my charges, history, and circumstances, is completely inappropriate. That information is private and confidential, and publishing it on a public platform like Google is highly unprofessional and raises serious concerns about your judgment and obligations as legal representatives. This isn’t about “misunderstandings” — it’s about professionalism, accountability, and respect for client confidentiality, all of which I believe have fallen short here.

I’m blown away by the service provided by Garde Wilson Lawyers! Not only did they give me the time to explain myself and express the let downs I’ve had by others all over Melbourne, I for the first time was heard, and witnessed first hand just how passionate and driven they are to get results! I cannot express with words just how grateful and blessed I am. I finally found a Legal firm I can entrust to all my daily life doing business and being a citizen who does everything to abide by the Law! My recommendation comes from the bottom of my heart! God bless them for their excellent work!

I am overwhelmed by Zara’s ethics, professionalism, responsiveness and empathy. Being entrusted by a loved one to find a trustworthy and skilled lawyer is intensely stressful and one which shoulders huge responsibility and pressure, but my immediate senses when I found Zarah was immediate relief. I found Zara to be highly responsive and communicative during my engagement with her which quickly parked any worries at bay. Zarah never made me feel like my queries were unwelcomed or a burden, and I am really grateful to know an empathetic lawyer. The fee that was quoted to me was also reasonably priced with a flexible payment option plan made available. Due to unexpected circumstances, I had to withdraw from her services- and still, she had kept things open ended and amicable. A virtuous law firm built on the right foundations, principles and philosophy. It deserves every success. Can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Zarah, for everything.
