What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Property purchases and settlements, will updates and powers of attorney, commercial and trust advice, and leasing matters form the core of the work described by people who have instructed this Hobart firm. A recurring observation is that explanations are delivered in plain terms, with complex guidance made to feel approachable rather than corporate. Individual solicitors are singled out by name: Sarah and Bec are thanked for revising an old will and arranging related documents, Sarah and Trudi for steering a property settlement through considerable difficulty, Justin and Sonia for being personable and across every question raised, Ryan Hartigan for a purchase and settlement that proceeded without friction, and Aurora for reviewing and negotiating a lease under tight timing.

Reviewers also value the willingness to work remotely with clients located in other states, and the fees are described as fair for the work involved. Repeat engagements and referrals appear to follow from that reliability, with conveyancing and estate planning the tasks most frequently highlighted. The heritage building itself, including its ornate ceilings, is noted as a memorable setting for meetings.

Visited TFR Laywers to review my will, check and renew enduring powers of attorney, and prepare guardianship documents. All went well and my needs were understood.

I recently had the great privilege of working with Sarah and Bec from TFR. We re-did my ancient will and for me organised for the inevitable losing my marbles. They were awesome deal with. VERY flexible in dealing with me digitally from interstate. Also, wonderfully reasonable rates - don’t tell them I said that!! Highly recommend!! Oh….and they’re in a spectacular building - make sure you check out the ceilings!! Stuart

Although highly recommended by a number of people in my community, I was disappointed that Tremayne Fay Rheinberger Lawyers failed to return phone calls or respond to emails. When I did talk with staff on the phone, they needed to leave messages for the lawyers to phone me back to book an appointment. I never received a call back, despite calling several times and talking to two different staff over a period of 3 months. Very unprofessional. Maybe they just don't need the work? I do recommend Advocate Lawyers (Hobart and Kingston) for Estate Planning (Wills) if readers are looking for a responsive and professional service.

Sarah and Trudi managed our property settlement very professionally, despite the numerous obstacles they encountered. This is the second time I have used Tremayne Fay Rheinberger for property conveyancing and happy with their service.

I recently engaged Tremayne Fay Rheinberger for assistance with commercial, trust, and residential conveyancing, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service. From start to finish, their team was professional, pragmatic, and incredibly supportive. They delivered complex legal guidance and action in a way that felt genuinely human and approachable—something that is often hard to find in the corporate world. Their expertise and clear communication gave me total confidence throughout the process. I highly recommend, and am grateful for the services of Aurora Kostezky, Amira Azreen and others from Tremayne Fay Rheinberger.
