Tierney Law is a law firm based in Hobart, Tasmania, with roots tracing to a Hobart legal practice that began in 1880. It operates four office locations: Hobart, Huonville, Sorell and New Norfolk. The Huon practice has traded as Tierney Law since 2007. A Hobart office was established in 2012, as was the Sorell office. In July 2023, Tierney Law established a site at New Norfolk. Robert Menzie practiced in Huonville as Menzie Legal for three decades before merging his practice into Tierney Law in 2017. Graeme Bradfield operated Bradfields for 24 years before merging in 2013. The New Norfolk site was established with the amalgamation of JH Dixon, which previously operated for nine decades. The Sorell office later amalgamated the practices of Peter Thiessen and Thiessen Conveyancing.
